Music Ministries

Montezuma Church of the Brethren provides many different opportunities for musical participation:

Chancel choir (open to all ages)

    • Director: Angela Andrews
    • The choir sings each Sunday during morning worship throughout the fall, winter and spring. They also participate in services for Easter and Christmas Eve.
    • Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7pm

 

Handbell choir (open to all ages)

    • Director: Ramona Evans
    • The handbell choir plays 1 Sunday a month throughout the fall, winter and spring.  The choir also performs for special services at VMRC, Bridgewater Retirement, and other events.

 

Children’s choir

    • Director: Linnette Coaker
    • The children’s choir sings about 1 Sunday a month
    • Rehearsals: Most Sundays the children rehearse in the children’s choir room at the end of worship.
 

Summer music ministry program

    • Different special music is provided each week by different people from our congregation.
